About Us
Doctor Emma Higgin
Graduated from the University of Southampton with a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 2011. She completed her Foundation Training in Winchester, before pursuing a career in Anaesthetics.
Recognising early her desire to pursue a career within the field of aesthetics, Emma undertook the Harley Academy Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine, accredited by Ofqual. As part of the Level 7, she has completed a portfolio of cases with leading Aestheticians in Harley Street. She has also completed both a clinical examination and detailed academic assignments on Dermatology, Cosmetic Psychology, Ethics, Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers.
Alongside being co-founder of Simply Skin Clinic, Emma currently works for the NHS as a General Practice Specialist Trainee within Winchester. As a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) group, Emma is committed to life-long professional learning and personal development. Emma ensures that her treatment plans are both personalised and holistic, to achieve natural yet effective aesthetic outcomes for all of her patients.

Nurse Ruth Riddle

Graduated in Adult Nursing from the University of Southampton in 2011.
Her career began as a dedicated chemotherapy nurse in oncology and haematology in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. Later she branched into emergency and acute medicine within Winchester and Basingstoke Hospital.
This medical experience laid the perfect foundation for a career in aesthetics, an interest Ruth has always wanted to pursue. She similarly undertook her Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine with MATA on Harley Steet, which is also accredited by Ofqual. As part of the Level 7, she also completed a portfolio of cases with leading Aestheticians in Harley Street. She also qualified as a Platinum Tech with Dermaplane Aesthetics doing Million Dollar Facials using precision Dermaplaning and Microneedling techniques.
In addition to being a co-founder of Simply Skin Clinic, Ruth continues to enjoy working within the NHS. She is also a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) group and is dedicated to continuous professional development and current practice.
